Based on the race 7 report looks like something happened between the top 3 drivers 22-23 sec lap at the last minute could mean that a new Tq will happen very soon

When I look at the numbers for the top 10, I'm seeing some really incredibly close racing. The top guys' delta on average lap times is +/- 0.18-0.25 seconds with incident free driving. A bobble here or there easily adds 1 to 2 second to a lap.

Pit wise, Toso and Burch look like they have that nailed with times in the 5.5 +/- 0.2 second range - while the other guys are averaging about 6.5 +/- 0.3 seconds - and I threw out the two that were 8.459 and 9.791 seconds. Mathematically, that already puts everyone 11 seconds behind Toso and Burch at the end of the race - even before the race has even started.

But this is racing and anything can happen. Looks like attrition, tire strategy and pit times are going to determine the final outcome once again.

Anybody know what the tire wear is like on this track? Can they easliy make it through the a-main without having to change tires?

Tire wear is good, and getting better. Still a pretty new surface.
Most qualified on ,35 fronts, and 37 rears. They won't make it, 42 rears and 40 fronts? Maybe? I'll post what I can, and msybe RCAKid, can post during the main, and I'll talk to him on the phone.

Thanks Jim,
Look forward to seeing you and the rest of the guys in Lincoln. I then can resume racing and forget ALL about the small stuff. At least until July gets here.
