I liked the S60?/volvo, thought it ran nicely. Most likely stick with the old stratus, but does the new Alfa really run similarly?

However I am really in love with Lola bodies...had anyone ever tried fitting a lola body on a shaft driven car? (fuel tank and engine being on one side)

Hey guys is it possible to fit a 190mm body to a 200mm Nitro Tourer. If so would there be any disadvantages.

Thanx

Does the fact that one is 190mm and the other 200mm not give you an idea?

You night get one or two of them to fit with the wheels under, but your track width has to be reduced a lot.

for the car to fit you will have to reduce your track with and use alot of camber; some may not want this as it affects stability....?

The wider the car the better...

electric and nitro should be the same with in my opinion.

Frewer Racing Astra DTM ........I think I would love to try out that body....it is illegal at ROAR but legal at Europe, I saw someone posted a picture of that body on their S710 and said the extra wide side fender does help on performance, no idea why, but definitely looks good for me.

This body was the hot item last year......sold out several times, never tried that before...but a lot of team driver running it, so it won't be wrong.......but I didn't know Protoform is Discontinued this body...Tower is still selling it and Protoform website is still posting it.

This is what I will run this nitro season..........not listed as LEGAL BODY until Roar book yet, but at WINTERNATIONAL, you can see quite a lot of team driver using it.....like Ralph JR in his S710 and I think Michael Salven use that too.....so I think it will be on ROAR book soon. Barry Baker used that body on Reedy race....and won.

DO NOT use 190mm elect body............WHY? You don't want to screw in your track width to fit the 190 because your dogbones might have no space to move.....not to mention, you don't have much to adjust your camber....

LOLA, VDS GTR body are not LEGAL, they are considered OUTLAW, the reason is.....for chassis like Serpent IMPULSE or V1RR or MTX2......they can equipped the rear butterfly floating device on their chassis and with the LOLA body on top.........the downforce and traction is NO TC can compare............our track had someone try out the different between the LOLA and TC body on the same car, same setting, same engine and same driver....the LOLA conversion/body is like good 1 second faster on each lap......not to mention, the open ENGINE cooling feature does have some advantage over the covered engine by using TC body....engine can lean more then TC body.
