manifold problem :(

I just recently purchased a THS racing pipe and put it in my stock engine for my Kyosho FW05T- Plus on my first run one of the screws disappeared when cleaning it after 1 tank of fuel.

purchased new set of screws and installed them with new nuts, after one tank and while cleaning it, i noticed the manifold was loose, so i tighten the screws again and the nuts.....

What could be the possible cause of this? should i buy new screws and nuts? should i buy a different manifold?

Thx in advance!

http://www.loctiteproducts.com/

let it dry after installing

LOL good to see im not the only one that had that exact problem with that manifold. No amount of loctite fixed that problem. The nuts would undo themselves and i couldnt finish a 10 min final. Every run i would take the nuts and bolts out, clean with metho, dry, loctite and put the nut on it and it would come loose.

The way i fixed my problem? Got a rear exhaust engine. Never had a problem since.

If you have room doudle nut each screw.

I've been wanting more power :sneaky:

the loctite has to dry overnight to be effective....lol

no need to buy a new engine, just let the locktite dry for at least a few hours

i'll give the locktite a try, and if not then i'll have to just buy a better bigger, faster engine HA HA HA!!!

Use some locktite and two nuts on each screw. Nothing
worse than having your nuts fall off while your running.
