Well, we are a week away from Monkey screaming time. I have save a couple of good ones for next week.

Who knows what next week will bring but it has not been that hot this summer and in the low 60's in the AM, you may want to bring a little extra clothes.

For those looking for Hotels: We have set up special room rates at the Sleep Inn and Holiday Inn Express. The discounts prices should save a few dollars. Ask for the GLC or a Great Lakes Challenge Room.

The Holiday Inn Express is (419) 691-8800
or for on line

The Sleep Inn is (419) 697-7800

Loran and I are looking forward to this one (I guess we look forward to every race ). We haven't been to this track before so the anticipation might be a little higher than normal.

Even when it rains there is fun to be had..... but lets hope it doesn't. Maybe a sacrifice to the screaming monkeys would help.......

Exclamation

For anyone that is coming from the South and take 795 to I280 to get to the track!

The bridge at I280 is gone! The bridge is being replaced so there is a detour. They take you South on I280 then make you go back North to Woodville Rd. Even better is when you want to go home, the exit ramp from I280 to 795 is closed and I think the detour takes you to BFE then maybe to I75........

I have attached a map of a much better way to go.

The local hobby store about 300' from the track has fuel. I am not sure what their hours are for this week.

When do you plan on getting to the track?
