Yep, Omar is right. I am very impressed with this little beast so far. I have had a few other high end, high dollar Italian motors and I was a little concerned that this motor, for the money, would be a slouch compared to those others. I'll be honest, this little dude does an excellent job. Doesn't hit quite as hard as the NOVAROSSI (which is a good thing on marginal traction surfaces) but she easily runs or should I say outruns just about anything out there.

The LHS has an asphalt track that I have been running on over a year and just 2 weeks ago I set the track lap record, tq'd and won the A Main with the motor. And that was against guys who held the lap record and usually dominate. That impressed me about this little engine. And heck for the money, you can't beat it! The piston & sleeve in a NOVAROSSI costs more than this STS RS5 engine with shipping to my door!

Good piece that Calandra is offering there in my opinion.

I'll be honest. The BMI chassis is amazing. The car is a rocket and it handles like it's on rails. I wouldn't be selling mine if I didn't need some extra cash for some house renovations I am doing. In fact I may have it to where I don't need to sell it so it may come off eBay tonight!

You will certainly notice the difference in the BMI instantly.

NitroJohnnyD,
I heard a lot of good things about sts engines especially in Hongkong where a great number of sts engines are being sold there. you must be a good driver for winning the A main, i'm sure you competed with other racers with novas, sirios, etc. In my local track here the one that is very popular is sirio the AAC version, a lot of fast racers prefers this engine due to its high torque. actually, i wanted to buy this engine soon. sad to say that none
of the lhs here sells sts engines.
