Hey my buddy just did this to his tc3. He went with the o.s. 18cvr and he seems to be pleased with it. He put the AE high rpm pipe and put orange and purple pinions. I kniow it goes much faster than it did. You can do header, pipe, engine and gears for right at 200$$

I run a o.s. .12tz they cost $220.

My next engine will be a o.s. .12 tz speed $340 or o.s. .12xz $450.

Any one of these would be good for racing.

Hope this help,

gotta be careful with high power engines in the ntc3.

ive been running a sirio evo3 3port turbo and even though its not nearly the best engine out there, its killed a few diff gears.

the 21/27 pinion 48 54 spur gearing is awesome for acceleration and speed, but it also attributes to gear wear. i might try a 4 or 5 tooth split next.

You just need the fix to stop destroying diffs. Just transplant the steel diffs from a Ofna LD-3 to your TC-3.
