It's a Serpent Impulse Pro!

The STS car is a Serpent Impulse Pro with the older Impulse style radio tray and newer 705 style rear upper arms & sway bar. I dunno if it uses the older Impulse/Pro style chassis stiffeners or the 705 type, but either way that is a Serpent car.

Have any of you guys tried the STS engines? I have aquired a STS 5 port turbo and I was wondering what you may think of it?

Absolutely, been running it all year with a reasonable amount of success.

Check out http://www.melbournecityrc.com/forum/default.asp for more info.

Melbourne Track and Hobby centre sell the cars in Australia.

From what i've read the STS motors are nova based which are far cheaper but have less quality control, don't have as much power and don't last as long as the nova based engies. But by all accounts a very reliable motor.

I was gonna say it crankcase looked a little Novarossi-ish, and I figured for the price that some aspect (QC as you pointed out) will probably suffer to some degree.

I am looking forward to checking this motor out when it shows up, I know that being almost $150 cheaper than my last actual Novarossi it probably won't run quite the same, but I'll tell ya, my Sirio 12trp-pro 5 port was just as fast (top end wise) as my RS12 T5S1 and it was $100 cheaper.

I am excited about getting the engine that is for sure.

Thanks for the input guys.
