Default mtx3 pulley gears

what does the different gears for the side belts do make the frt wheels turn faster or slower please help

It's how you can tune whether or not your front drives more than the rear eg: pushing/ pulling the car etc. I think it's called over drive ratio. Comparing how much the front drives compared to the rear. I also think you should keep them as close to even as possible but you might want a second opinion as i'm usually wrong.
