Hey Fab:

Sorry to ruin your party, but if you look closely you will notice that those pictures are different from the car seen. There are parts that are very different.

The good news and bad news...

the bad news?...I don't see much radical whatever...

the good news?....no lay down, inversed, horizontal, progressive motion, rocker arm, ball bearing pivoting, shocks....

Guys, just to clarify, this CAD pics are the first proposal of a new car, back in May 2008. Mr Salven did not like this design and decided to start with a clean sheet and the result is the car that Serpent is testing as we speak.
So, as Edgar already stated, the pics are totally different, since they are totally different projects!

One things for sure: Serpent is hot news again

Really happy to see them working on a car again and really testing it a lot... Very good to see!

Good to hear that the car isn't going to look like the cad images, because there it looks like a mess. And the cad image is basicly a 720 with a different radioplate if you look at the geometry.

Hope to see it soon on the mach track

As SerpentAmerica has stated, the CAD images presented by 3hobby.net and uploaded in this forum are not even CLOSE to what the REAL CAD images or the REAL car look like.

It would be better to remove them so people who are looking through this forum and not reading posts like SerpentAmerica's get misinformed on what the new 7XX will look like.

Forgot to mention, if you were smart, you wouldnt need me or anyone telling you that AINT the new car.

Look at the old CAD images, the bulkheads are still plastic, the anti-roll bars are both blade types when they both should be wires, the rear uprights are not the ones.
