Default Diff leak

Hi Guys,

My front diff wont stop leaking!!!!
I've tried different oil's and bought 3 complete diffs
and the problem......not going away.

It's leaking from the casing as well as the screw threads.

The weird thing is the rear and the front diffs are assembled exactly the same way and when I changed the grease to oil the front started leaking and the rear...... still fine....>

Its a GS RTR Vision.

All help will b GREATLY appreciated.

Thnx.

I don't know what that diff looks like but I would suggest trying to seal the parts up with rtv. You can get it at any automotive parts store and any kind should work. If it's leaking out of the screws, put some rtv on the screw threads before you install them. Also put some on the mating surfaces of the diff case halves before you put them together. Without knowing what your diff looks like, I would think just doing this should take care of most of your leaks anyway. Hope that helps.

What JetMD post should work... I did this to the screws on my rear diff. just to make sure and untill now no problem at all.
