Default Pics DM-1 Spec with LRP .28

Well after a week or so of collecting parts it's starting to come together. So far I have the LRP .28 spec 3, JP-3 pipe, upgraded brakes, 150cc tank, hitec 5955tg servos. Hoping to run it this weekend in 1/8 GT open comp.

You've got some great looking cars!! I thought the LRP engine was around the same power output as the stock IGT2 Kyosho engines. I'd be interested in the performance you get from that engine.
Good Luck racing both classes.

Thanks for the compliment on the cars.

There was a guy that tested a bunch of engine on a dyno and posted them up on HPI forum. I'll have to find the link but the LRP .28 spec was like 1.87 vs the Kyosho engine was 1.16 or so. The LRP should be a screamer. Hoping to know by the weekend

Thanks. I'm going to try and run the stock gearing

Main Gear: 44 tooth and 48 tooth
Clutch Bell: 16 tooth and 20 tooth.

I will see how that works out and go from there. I am hoping for 60mph or more but we'll see. I clocked my stock IGT2 at 50mph so anything above that would be good.
