It appears the event has sold out. To be included on the waiting list, we must receive an entry flyer with payment in full and membership status current through the dates of the event, in the mail to the Administrator. The list is kept by date of receiptof completed information and entry requirements. The Admin will put a number next to your name as its displayed on the waiting list because our program forces us to list in alphabetical order. So.. LOOK AT THE NUMBER IN YOUR NAME.. not the order your listed.

For those who tried to sign up for Masters and entered into 8th open, you need to contact Ruben at [email protected] immediately. Also, if you signed up but didn't pay through the online services, contact Ruben if you had intended on mailing the entry fee or did already.

Again, its sold out.

Default Maxy's Fuel @ The Nationals

Maxy's Fuel is planning to attend and bring fuel to the track for the ROAR Nationals.

Send us a PM if you want to preorder your fuel.

Gentlemen: I am sure there is quite a bit of discord happening regarding this sell out situation. ROAR has done nothing different than in past years other than begin online registration.

To do this, we have to have a method of checking membership because the rules state current members may attend events. We can't permit signing up for an event if your membership is not current. That is unfair to the member who did keep their membership current. Only current members may participate in a sanctioned event.

Yes, you have to have current status through the dates of the event. That was stated CLEARLY on the website on 1/1/09, before the opening of each event this year and again a few days prior to this event opening up and on this very thread. Its no surprise.

The event is full. All heats are packed and ROAR is following with the host's request of no more than 16 mains total. The rules say no more than 20 qualifying heats.

If you are not on the confirmed list, you will need to send an entry flyer with payment for your classes and ensure your membership is current THROUGH THE DATES of the event, just like every other year, to be added to the waiting list. You will be contacted when you move from the waiting list. If you are not moved, you will be refunded in FULL your entry fee.

Please guys.... anger and accusations of being treated unfairly are really not called for.

Thanks-
Dawn Sanchez

So much for the need to combine classes I guess

Just an observation, not a criticism.

yes, you can't get on the waiting list unless your membership is current through the dates of the event. Those on the unverified list are there because their membership is not current through the dates of the event.

No, actually, the need was there. (appreciate the observation! )

The past several years with them split apart had significantly low entry count to the point the hosts and ROAR were not covering expenses. The necessity for the combination is also present to prevent people from traveling and shipping equipment twice a year, taknig off that much more time from jobs and spending double the figures to participate.

I'm proud we have begun streamlining our programs. Off Road Fuel was combined as well just like off road electric several years ago. On Road electric on carpet is very popular right now but on pavement, entry counts are very low and very costly to manage an event.
