Yes... but you automatically are qualified. You still need to send in entry information and keep your membership current. Its not automatic that you do nothing.

On line registration will open on 6/1 at 7:00 pm PST at www.ROARracing.com. You'll need a log in account, requires a valid email address. You must be a current ROAR member with current registration thru 9/6 and pay for your entry to be a verified entry. All entries go to the unverified list automatically to have membership status verified. If your membership status is current thru the last day of the event, 9/6, as required you are moved to the verified list in the order that you were received. If your membership is not current you will be notified via email that your membership needs to be updated. Being on the unverified list DOES NOT hold your spot in line.

This is a open registration, first come, first served. The only way into the race is to be on the verified list. You will be asked for your ROAR number when you register. Don't panic if you don't have it, just enter XXXXX for your ROAR number. All registrations will be verified manually by the ROAR Administrator for membership status in the order they were received. In the future you will need to know your ROAR number for registration, most likely by next year.

If you decide to register via snail mail then I'd reccomend getting it there the fastes way possible as this event will most likely sale out quickly with it being a combined 8th/10th scale event and the fact that this will be the qualifier event for the Fuel Sedan WC in Huston, TX next year

If you need to update your ROAR membership you can do that online via www.ROARracing.com or via snail mail. If you decide to mail it in I'd recommend getting right on it.

Hope this answers any questions on registration for the event.

Oh yeah .... I forgot .... entry fee is $80 per class, 1/8th open, 1/8th Masters and 1/10th Sedan.
A basic schedule for the event week will be as follows,
Monday 8/31 Track closed per ROAR rule 12.3.1
Tuesday 9/1 Track closed per ROAR rule 12.3.1
Wed 9/2 Host controlled practice
Thur 9/3 RMT controlled practice
Friday 9/4 3 rounds qualifying
Sat 9/5 3 rounds qualifying
Sun 9/6 mains

Default Covered Pits

Will there be covered pits available?
What will the cost be for a space?
Can we pay the additional cost when we register?

Any pit space reservations or rental fees are 100% at the discretion of the host club and so 100% handled by the host club. Registration for the event is handled 100% by ROAR so pit space rentals can not be paid for with your race registration. Please contact the host club, 1/8th Racers of Toledo, at [email protected] or [email protected] for pit space rentals and reservations.

Hey Ruben or Dawn, are there refunds on the entry fees if we sign up and something comes up not allowing us to attend?? ( Like finding a job, LOL )

Thanks,

Scott ..... entries are refunded up to the early entry deadline of 8/2 for this race with a minimal administrative fee of $15. We have had cases where we've had medical emergencies and family emergencies before and after the early entry deadline and and we are considerate in these situations. Hope to see you there!!!

Yes Ruben is correct for pit reservations. The fee will be $20 per pit spot. You will be allowed one pit spot for each class. If you sign up for 2 classes, you can get 2 spots, but will have to pay for both ($40 total). And as mentioned, you can either contact Ted or myself for pit spots.

We will not be taking pit spots unless your entry has been submitted and confirmed to ROAR. We will verify the list published by ROAR to verify your entry and how many classes you are in. If you are planning on getting a group together and would like them in the same area, include that in your request. We will try to accommodate everyone as best as possible. The sooner you get your entries in, the sooner you can get a pit spot, the better your chances of pitting in a group. We will not have a limit of how many pit spots are open. We have permanent pit covers that will fill first (about 98 spots). Once those are filled and need more room we will look into renting a large tent for extra space. Please make your plans as soon as possible to give us ample time to make the proper accommodations.

We will also be supplying a map for people coming with trailers and RVs. That will be out at a later time. Trailers and RVs will not need to pay pit spot reservations.
