Kyosho makes a clutch shim set that comes with three different thicknesses and have a smaller outside diameter so they don't rub on the outer bearing race. I highly recommend then for behind the bell shimming (endplay). Use the big Mugen ones for outside the bell shims (clutch gap).

I was looking for that part number just a few days ago.

This is what everybody running onroad nitro should have for a clutch shim kit.

I found my shims on Dinballs shop on Ebay. Its under the misc items. One pack has all three sizes .1,.2,.3 and ten of each. The pice is dirt cheap and there international postage is next to nothing. They are Atomic, a absolute MUST for any racer.
