Tires for DM-1 Help needed !

Okay so I i got a DM-1 Spec, I was told to purchase the GRP tires..I could only find a listing for Losi tires which we assumed were the GRP tires...I bought a set of Losi 1/8th buggy tires part # LOSA17759......These tires a fair bit larger in diameter then the stockers.....What tires am I supposed to buy for this thing, please somebody show me a model # or listing..... And off chance has anyone run these tires that I bought ?

edit: I guess with some trimming of the body and front bumper I can run these tires. However what are the proper tires for one of these ? does GRP have a tire I was unable to find

I suggest you consider either Ipanema or OFNA tires. Both are rubber slicks and both work good. I turn faster times on the Ipanemas. I carry both brands.

I agree with Winnerscircle. I have run Ofna and Iponema on my IGT2 and the Iponema is a better tire. I plan on running the Iponemas on my DM-1 Spec as well.

I get them from Lee at http://winnerscirclerc.com he has awesome prices and great guy to deal with.

I've never tried foams but have to run rubber regardless per class rules.

Thanks
Alain

Just make sure the tires that you buy are BELTED tires.
Maximo, what with all the insane power that the Clocked .28
engine is going to be trying to get hooked to the road, your
going to need belted tires.
FOAMS!!! FOAMS!!! Maximo, your DM-1 Spec would smoke off a
set of foams faster than a big fattie gets smoked at a raggee concert.
LMAO.....................................
