hey guys, as u may know already im new to r/c racing as a whole, when i pick up my rs4 3 EVO rtr am i gunna be able to race on the weekends with the novice class, what does it mean when they say remember to switch to blue, meaning a new channel, how do i do this, does it require a better controller or what????? please help i really wanna race!

first off what controller do you have

Now once we find out we can tell you how to swap crystals most likely in the back of the transmitter look for a rectangular piece of rubber behind it should be the crystal it should have a tag with a number one it like 27.145 that would be frequency 27.145 wheras some one else will have 27.045 in that case you could race with that person also your LHS can help you find the right crystals and where they are located on your controller. Hope this helps...

actually u just did, and to make it easier for u, its the EVO kit from HPI i am not totally sure what controller it is, im a beginner so keep your holds barred

you should go to HPI's web site and start reading every link they have for beginners...including "what is RC" and FAQ's...(and since you don't have a clue,it stands for frequently asked questions"...

alot of your questions can be easily answered by you by doing a nominal amout of research(including the "search" button on this forum)....

We'll all help you out if you get stumped,but you have to put forth some effort on your own.....
