Heat the trigger with a heatgun( be careful) and then gently bend it so the gap is reduced. This is how i modded the trigger in my m11.

Try a piece of fuel tubing to take up the space. I have seen this done but never tried it for myself.

Mine has a piece of about 1.5mm thick shrink wrap. I've used the fuel tubing tip before and it works good.

How's your battery life on your M8? Are you using nimh? I find that with nimh I can get maybe half day of racing. It's horrible. I have to bring an extra set of batts. I just bought a 11.1 2200mah lipo. Waiting for that to come in.

I'm still using the 1100mah pack that came with my M8 in 1999. Lasts all day with no problems as long as I don't forget and leave the transmitter on.

Then my 2450mah must be crap. They definitely don't last all day.

Use fuel tubing...it gives your finger a little cushion and it wont slip off in a long main

It could be a charger issue or maybe just one cell has gone bad.

I used a trick that came with Hitec crx. It has a small piece of form that has a half moon shape. You glue this to the brake side of your triger this will greatly reduce the gap between your finger and the brake. I had some old foam tires I used on my staduim truck. I cut a section of the tire into the shape of the trigger and then glue. I will post some pics of my Hitec crx and my Helios that have this mod. A couple of buddies have felt it and love it.

Pass you soon
