You can make your own battery pack, 5 AA rechargeable batteries.

I got my 07 conversion in Japan.

You can buy the battery pack at Ultimate. I believe Kamikaze also has a battery pack.

I used to try to use allens, picks, etc. to scoot the pin out enough to grab with pliers. Then I got wise and realized there was a reason I have one of these http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...TOOL&ihtoken=1 in my toolbox. Works like a champ!!

Does the 07 conversion kit do anything to move components aroudn on the deck or is it just new cutouts to look better/lighten? I just want to know if this would be worth it or should I just get the rear arms separate and get the empire new front body mount. The stock upper deck, if the same mounting location, really doesnt seem like it needs to be swapped out.

The new upper deck doesn't move any components around. It does look better, but that is a side effect.

What it does is allow the chassis to flex more (thus the reason for the holes) which leads to better traction (especially front traction since most of the cutouts are towards the front). If you use the new upper deck, you'll probably need the steel servo saver post (if Mr. Buran is correct on the aluminum version's tendency to bend) to keep it happy and straight.

Does it need to be swapped out? Depends on how rigid of a chassis you like, but it is always good to have that option of running it (like the rest of the 07 components). I've heard mixed reviews on the new parts, but everyone is different on how they setup their car.

The rear arms are longer and the rear body mount has a third option for more down force, as far as the deck, it's lighter and the front body mount looks cool but won't last long, I'd go for the empire one or stock. The empire stiffner with the new deck is tits .02
