Aaron thanks for all the info It will come in very handy. Well I did buy a Evolva but I checked my mail and found out that the guy refunded my money because he just found out he had sold it in his retail store Well I am now looking for another good deal on a 05 Evolva. Anyone know about how much the world kits are going for?

I would check with Mark Unger, he is now a Kyosho dealer, I'm sure his pricing will be very competitive.

..I'm not sure what kind of deal you are looking for, but ashfordhobby.com
and acehardwarehobbies.com carry the full line of Evolva cars and spares.

Hello Whynot, it depends on the kit model the evolva 2003 and 2005 use a 24t pully on the front one way and 16t on the midle shaft 26t or 25t overdrive pully thats for the side belt and 18t for the main drive pully side belt and 20t for the rear main drive shaft pully were the brake disk goes and 49t or 48t for the ridgard axle pully rear belt i can not rember been a long time since ive counted them. The older 2001 phantom used a 25t oneway pully and a 17t mid shaft front belt pully and the same over drive pullies but used a 17t for the main drive pully side belt and may of used a difrent main drive shaft rear belt pully i have some here that are alloy and there 19t. The parts are sold in 2 groops one parts bag has 16t 24t and 20t the outher has 17t 25t (26t 25t overdrive pullies) the 49/48t and 18t. Ill post the part numbers shortly for you. But if its an early car 2000 to 2002 phantom its 25t and 17t if its a delta or kyosho evolva 2003 to 2006wc car its 24t 16t. Hope this helped. I got a question for you guys the 2005 alloy hangers what dose it change in the cars on track if you raise or lower the front top arm mounts? Thanks and Regards Jeremy.

Hello All, For the last 6 months ive run the rear top arms in the outer bulkhead hole this was my first year of 8th on-road running a 2005 evolva i strugled for most of the year with set-up but its now its starting to come around. I found that by moving the rear top arm to the outer hole in the bulkhead you limeted camber to about 2.5 deg but I saw what felt to me like a 25% or more improvement in rear grip. Its hard to discribe but it took the twichyness out of the rear for my club track low camber is not a prob. The shorter rear arms will work very well It stumped me why no set-ups that any one used the outer holes for the rear top arm to bulkhead mount. It made my car 100% better to drive I defently recamend trying it. Regards Jeremy.

I have decided to sell my 2005 Evolva. Car has been run 6 times and is in very good condition. I was planning on selling the car with a ZX-21 motor, header and pipe. I also have a ton of parts and tires. PM me if your interested. I have listed all items that I have for this car.

I aslo have some custom painted bodies already on E-Bay.

Sirio -

The lower front hangars will usually produce more steering, also the shorter the front upper arm will have the same effect. I believe the Kyosho alum mounts only shorten the a-arm. The Empire versions, do both. In either application you need to always reset the track and camber.

Something else is wrong with your setup, running the rear upper a-arm in the outside hole, would make the rear track of the car very wide, if you have a normal amount of rear camber. One of the Evolva's strength's IMO is it's stability, and you should not need to run the rear of the car that wide to make it hook up.

On parking lot tracks to get the car to free up, many of us run the rear track so narrow that we have to grind the rear axle out so the CVD's don't bottom out.

Now that we have a short upper rear a-arm we should be able to use that outside hole effectively while still having a normal rear track 262-264mm.

Happy New Year,

-A

Hello Aaron, I am running the 7-3.5in rear lower arm holders and i run 264mm rear with and 1.5deg toe in and 1.5 to 2 deg camber my club track is brendale were the 10th gas worlds was last year. The track is a no traction compound track and has lots of off and on camber turns and is quite bumpy. I have narrowed the rear of my car down to 260mm and i keep the front from 243 to 255 normaly 254mm. Thanks for the info about the front arm holders the kyosho instructions are so vage. I know i still have work to do with set up but i am the only one running an evolva 90% are mugen with 1 or 2 serpents. Thanks for the help agen Regards Jeremy. ask some guys that ran the tourer worlds about the track and sort me a base set up for it?.
