at first I was going through belts like nobodies business. I was stripping belts like every 10 minutes of running. I just got the empire belt tensioner and it is a must have hop-up!

A front spool? You don't want a spool for an 1/8 scale car. The steering would suffer since the rear is already solid.

This is what www.gasrccar.com has to say...

Front Locked one way for Serpent or Mugen

Why would you want a locked front end?

1) Much shorter stopping distances. Stay on the gas longer and still out brake the people you are racing. Brake going into turns without spinning out!

2) No loss in steering on a sugar water or VHT perpared surface. On an unprepared surface there is an initial slight push at the entrance of the turn.

3) The car is easier to drive

4) Lap times are lower.

5) Front belt has a much longer life. I have been running this for the last 8 races on the same belt.

I believe those are for the 1/10th scale sedans running a diff in the rear.
