Hi Roadwizard,

We were able to run our cars with either one of these starters
with no problems.

They work pretty much the same. Just a matter of aligning the
guides for the car.

Hope this helps and have fun with the car.

Is the serpent starter box a perfect fit for the Evolva? (like serpent starter box and serpent car, perfect alignment of flywheel and starter wheel with no adjustment) During a race, I don't want to move the car around to align the flywheel to the starter wheel.

Hi Chris,

I'm glad you enjoy the site - we are constantly improving the content-look and feel. Yes, all of the aluminum items will be anodized Blue. The prototypes (in some of the photos) were natural. The final product will always be blue. The Tensioner, The Belt and The Grip are available now. The Mount, The Stiffener and The Sway will be ready before the Winter Nats (or about two weeks).

Default Kyosho USA

Do any of you guys have any information on the opening of Kyosho Distributorship in the USA?

I have heard it said that Kyosho would be doing their own Distribution in the USA shortly.

Is there anybody here who has any information about this ?

Default Chassis

Kevin from Ace Hobbies will be releasing an aftermarket chassis for the Evolva soon. If you are familiar with any of his past chassis' such as the one for the Mrx3, you know this one will be nice. I'll post photos as soon as Kevin makes them available.

And also for all you guys looking to stiffen and strengthen your Evolva, don't forget to check out www.empirercracing.com. They are making some really nice aluminum parts for the car. I have had the oppurtunity to get my hands on a few of these parts and the quality is excellent.

I just got a message from Rich at Empire RC. The Aluminum swaybar holder and radio tray support will be available at Ace Hobbies this week.

Default Empire Racing Parts

Hi Chris,

You are correct. The Stiffner is available at Ace. I have attached an image. This part really increases the overall "stiffness" of the chassis. The next part that will be available is the front sway bar "assembly"

thx,
Rich

Attached is the "The Sway". Why? The stock assembly breaks easily - requiring close maintenance after each run. This makes your front sway bar very responsive and totally predictable - plus, it doesn't break. Available, 2/9, Wednesday.

That's a Shimo one-way. The rings are esthetics only. The front of the car is drab.

Edwin,

Ace should have them already. Give them a call and ask for Kevin. I got mine yesterday and they are very nice pieces.
