already and so did Kevin on his sedan.

And I would bet even further that he will be much FASTER with
the Evolva...
Give him a call. I also think he would be faster with the Evolva

Default My broken evolva

Here are pics of my Evolva. You can see the second 45T spur gear is stripped. The plastic at the rear upper suspension that holds the rear pivot ball is broken.

I am actually getting the evolva and i was also thinking of what battery to put in. I want a bettery that would give great power and also longer run time... Anyway i did some research and found the new lithium polymer batteries are are pretty good the only thing is that they come in different sizes and voltage and they also require a different charger... but this battery will last longer and give you sufficient run time without charging it during race day... these batteries are normally used on rc planes and helicopters... as you know these RC's require high voltage and longer run times ... the lithium poly mer has7.2v, 8.4v, 11v or more on them so you might use a micro volt regulator if you go higher voltage ... by using this you actually extend the run time better... oh did i mention its three times lighter than the normal AAA or AA battery we use!!! good luck! hope this helped you!!!

Many folks (inc. Cyrul) are just building their own receiver packs with AA batteries. Just go down to a big electronics store like Fry's Electronics and get some 2400mAH AA batteries and be done with it. If you start getting into LiPo you have excessive voltage issues and there are some stability (read:explosion) issues as well.

I suck in electronics...I would rather buy than make it myself. I would end up spending more if I'm gonna make it myself.

I had Batteries Plus make up a 5pk AA with 2100MaH (cost about $15.00). It is a tight fit and heavy, but the car needs the additional weight as it is so light .

Now I can run all day without recharging.

thanks for the link. do you know anyone who had tried it ? wanted to use this kind of batteries for a long time by the safety issue and the discharge rate issue keep holding me back.
