About the MAX engines, I have heard nothing but good about them.

I have only run the engine once but I can tell you the power was greater than the traction. no sign of flame outs and very good throttle response.

About the MAX engines

I have had no problems with the Novamax engine. It is freakn' fast, plenty of top-end,mid-range, and ballistic bottom-end. It has a little more puch on the bottom end than my JP Rex engine......I tried a Collari Innotech engine last year, and it was extremely fast, but I could never get the bottom-end right so I got rid of it......I have yet to try the Collari Sirio, I heard it's pretty good.

Awesome looking paint job! What body is that? It looks like the Parma body, but I wanted to confirm.

Rich,
Thanks, the body is a Parma Audi 03. I have tried almost all the 1/8 bodies that are on the market; ie: the Serpent Lola,Speedline,Paris,Protoform. I was running the Mugen body before I tried this new Parma body, and I must say that the Parma body is the best 1/8th body I have used. It really stabalizes the car and plants the rear-end. I give it two-thumbs up, give it a try I'm sure you will like it.

Default My experience with Evolva

Hi :

I have driven the Evovla for a few times since Feb. I'd like to share my experience with you. The car is equipped with a Max power MF engine and a Nova Rossi pipe. The car is set up according to the factory setup sheet. 35 shore front and rear tires. I have driven this car on a Hong Kong permanent 1/8 track and a parking lot track in Montreal.

The car is great in handling, no oversteer, no understeer. Very grippy on tracks (sugar water sprayed). However, the car is a bit fragile compared to Serpent. The graphite front body mount is cracked.

A few weeks ago, the car slightly went sidewide onto a wall, and damaged the plastic that holds the rear pivot ball, the rear buldhead and the front lower suspension.

I will post the pictures of my Evolva later.

My local hobby store carries it, and I think Tower Hobbies has it too. I will get back to you.
