Default Novarossi 1/8 pipe selection

Can someone give me an idea of what pipes are the ones to go for now days. I am running Nova engines, RX21, 35 plus, 21-3c, JP eagle, NS21p. I am assuming that there is a suitable pipe for all these motors. I am using conical headers. I have the older based pipes.......2052, 2015, 9886, 2006. Have no freaking idea what type of pipes the 2015 and 2006 are like.

Thank you
Warren

IMO their are really only three choices, 2015, 2052 or a Sirio or RB 2013. 2015 is a good mileage pipe, 2052 makes a bit more top, 2013 just plain rips (and is louder)

What about the 3005/6/7 pipes that are new from Novarossi?
How did I know that you were going to answer Thanks bro.

While I am here when do you think its time to ditch a rod? I have two rods that bottom bearing is sitting on about 4.8mm and 4.7mm. I dont know when its time fro them to go. With the plug in they seem fine but with the plug out
there seems to be play.

Don't even think about a 30xx pipe unless you want to be slow. They are for the new EFRA rules and will not make the same power.

And the 30xx pipes make your engine hotter, up to 20+C more

A good pipe is the 2052, the 2015 is used more by several topdrivers. The 2013 is awesome, it makes the engine a bit hotter, has less top rpm but power all the way and for sure 30 sec more runtime.
I run the JP 2031 and the 3036 (= new spec 2031) and both run great.

It depends on the tracking you are running. For 35Plus-21, use 2052. This combo runs really well.

2006 is also a pretty good pipe. It is suited for the large track

Ditto on WingRacer and Roelof. The three pipes that I have used are;
> the 2015 and it makes fuel;
> the Sirio 2013 is a bit faster and yes it is much louder;
> I still like the old stand by, the 9886. It gives me more top end than the 2015 and I can still make 5 mins.
Don't forget that the header will give you some additional tuning choices, long - medium - short.
Good luck,
Roger

I still have 9886 pipes and really enjoy them. I always thought the 9886 pipe was a bottom end pipe. I think I may have an RB 2013 that I never recognised so that will be running soon. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Louder pipe = more power ?

What pipes do you experts recommend for me, I have OS VZR engine.

( currently I use RB 2018,,,,,, sadly got T-boned last week ).

In stock in the shop only have : Novarossi 2052, 2015, 2630, OS 1040, 1060 , and Sirio 2013.

Thanks for your tips.

The 2015, 2013 and the two OS pipes should all be good on that motor.
