Hey vthondaboi

Its a Matter of tastes... Now a days all car are good enough to win.

If your beginning, look for something that has the lest breakage... That way you can go all out and slam that thing around, to find your limits. This way you'll always be running at the Ragged Edge, and can find a fast groove, and rhythm for your driving style(this is ONLY when your the Only one on the Track)... But also learn to drive smooth, this is the most important thing you can do, because in traffic the fastest guys are always the smoothest. This is for Any kind of Racing... It was the most important lesson I learned when I used to Race Bikes and Cars...

Hey Racer 1

Cutting the tire at an angle, will pre-run your tires in. When you finish cutting your tires there flat, and as you wear them in you'll find there Sweet spot, where they really run good. When your in the Sweet spot look at your tire and measure them. They'll be at some tapper then adjust your lathe to this angle. This way you never have to break-in your tires.
