New Hyper Head much larger than the old .12TR yes it does have a new crank and 11A 3 needle carb. This engine will make it's debute at the Texas Biggie. Ron Atomic will be using this engine in his FWo5R. I will give you performance updates soon.
let us know i used the OSTR with great sucess but couldnt used the OSTR turbo because it was 5 ports i cant wait to try the OSTR 3 port turbo should be a real power house with alot of torque!

We have been working on getting more raw horsepower with our engines. The R-spec is not the same engine as the .12TR in the 1/10 scale racing OS is starting all over
and this engine is only the start.

Enough raw HP to pull a touring car down a 200 ft stretch?.....

Very few people have a problem using an OS motor on small to med tracks(MY Hyper head TR(T) R40 is equal to the tc3 RB 5 port turbos at our track..90 ft front stretch)..Its the 125 ft.(and longer) straight-a-ways that the Italian flag gets raised ...

Im abit confused with what you guys have siad about these engines as people at the track have told me these engines have no take off speed! but loads of top end. Yet you guys say it has lots of grunt, torque and take off power.
Also may i ask what needle settings you guys are running on please?
Thanks

it has a lot of low end, my needle in the low end is turned 2 turns clockwise from flush ,and tune accordingly on the top but it may be different than yours depending where you are from(state/country)

Thanks yea i know it depends on weather and how big the track is etc.. but yea just wanted a back up information so if i end up getting my needles out of tune i would have an idea where to set them back. thanks Marcos. so is the low end as good as those Nova's MT-12s ? or are novarossi motors just in a different league all together?

the novarossi motor have alot more top end but the os has more low end great for small to medium technical tracks. My serpent with the Os tr has won a few races where other people were using jp's and x12 motors.
