Default Correcting Bad Handling Issues

While racing last year I was told that my car was pushing in the corners, I understand what it is but how do I correct it?

So would it be safe to say its just to much speed entering a turn? I mostly noticed it on a right hand sweeper.

Think of traction as having $1.00 to spend

50 cents in the front and 50 cents in the rear would give you a balanced car

Some guys (mainly the fast ones) spend 60 cents up front and 40 in the rear

It sounds as though something has changed on your car (damage or service)

What is more important is how did you like the way it was handling. You said someone else told you it was pushing.

A lot of adjustments can give you more front traction, but it will be taking away from somewhere else to do it.

Was it pushing coming out of the corner, on power?
Off power, pushing going into the turn ?

If the car is pushing only on one side it may be tweaked.Looosen all the screws and then re-tighten them.Make sure nothing is bent or worn.

Just my 2 cents worth of comment...

I thought it might be due to a "chunk" tyre or maybe a dried up differential. I experienced a similar issue before, what happen was the silicon oil thins down after many hours of run and the car felt abit "lose" when i enter some high speed sweeper. Try draining your old oil and top it up with new oil of the same weightage; remember to replace with a new gasket after that.

Cheers!

It was pushing on power entering and in the middle of the curve.

Thumbs down Sarah Jessica Parker Bundled Up in the Big Apple

Braving the cold winter weather, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted out in New York City earlier today (February 6). Dressed for the chilliness, the actress bundled up to stay warm in a knitted hat, navy blue parka, jeans, and some cozy UGG boots as she exited her Big Apple abode. In related news, New Line Cinema spokeswoman, Candice McDonough, has confirmed that SJP’s “Sex and the City” will have a sequel ?C due out in summer 2010. The movie will again include her three co-stars, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, along with writer-director Michael Patrick King.Talking about the movie, King is keeping fans guessing, stating, “I’m very excited to work with these amazing actresses again and would love to give everyone more information about this sequel..but I’m busy with my ‘Sex’ life.”I love uggs .

Did you get a chance to go through the car ?

A few things I thought of

Rear suspension binding ...not free
Droop ...front and rear
Ride height
Rear toe angle

If YOU like the way the car handled then i would leave it but if you don't want it to push then maybe try going to a thinner rear diff oil.....depending on the traction level.

Hope this helps, let us know how you went.

There are a few things you'r forgetting to mention is it a 1/8 or 1/10 scale if its a sedan are you using a spool up front or diff. A spool on a sedan tends to push off power you would either have to brake more too tighten your line mid corner or start with a wider line and stay on power. But you must first go over the car. Make sure its not tweaked. Also check for body draggin.
