At the moment no. It is a line that is being added to what we already have. We will not be loosing any of own line of tires. At least at the moment. We are just trying to give racers more options. We are also trying to figure out pricing for this tire. I will keep you guys informed. It worked really well at the Pre-Worlds, taking the TQ. A few of the top drivers like, Robert, Collari, Daniele and others were using and testing the tires.

Well I ran the new tires this weekend to test and see how they feel. I typically run the Kyosho Light weight style just to let people know. I compared the two and this is what I found. The new rim gave me more traction all around. I tested a set in qualifing and in the main. I found I got a little less wear and in the heat and the tire was very consistent. I also tested the durability (not on purpose) and the tire did not even get chipped or change color like the light weight rim does. The temps were crazy this weekend and the wheels worked really well. Overall all I think this is going to be a tire for the serious racer. The next time I use them will be at the Worlds. Twister Tires USA will also be carring them around the same time. Feel free to ask any questions you would like. I will try my best to answer them.

I ordered some of the 1/10 Kyosho style prolights couple weeks ago for an mtx4 and they won't fit. Are these tires just for kyosho? There is too much slop in the hex and they just spin off.

All of the hexes are the same size (of the current cars anyway) so the Kyosho style wheels should not have a problem on any car. If nothing else, you should be using the locknuts with the teeth and not nylon lock nuts so they dig into the wheel. No wheel should ever spin or even have the chance to move with these.

Can you measure your hex and post it back here? I personally run a Kyosho car but they are the same as the Serpent style wheel on my hexes except the offset slightly different widths.

The prolights tend to actually run tighter than the standard material as well, I usually have to ream out the hole slightly.
