Default rubber glue

hey guys im doing the rear bulkhead on my kyosho evo rrr and it says to
"apply rubber type glue" for a rubbery piece to a metal piece.
What is rubber type glue? what can I use?

I've used rubber cement (elmers) and it works fine.
