Any Tires that are CHEAP
So you plan to get the best(most expensive) engine but using with cheapest tyres? Sucker! Tyres are more important than engines or power.

You can have the fastest .12 around but the most important is to have a reliable engine and be consistant driver. I have a O.S.TR out of the box in my Shumacher R12 and this past weekend my R12 was one of the fastest at track. So its better to have a good setup that a fast engine with too much power. (my 2 cents)

You can have the fastest engine but learn how to tune-it correctly. I've seen too many rookies have JP's, Rody's, etc.... and these guys are getting past by stock MT-12's or something similiar. So, learn to tune a stock motor to its optimum. And then when your ready, buy a modified motor. It'll save you time and headaches later on.

I know how to tune. I have had 2 modified mt-12's and i can tune w/ out a temp gun. I prefer to have a temp gun to get real exact but i can run motors and tune them great

mtx I personally like the jp versions over the rody
i don't know about the 5 port versions since i owned
a 3port rody and a 3port jp ns3 but between the
two i owned the jp was faster and more consistent
on tuning.
