Billy, he can't race Slash! Way too much pressure.

He should wait til Sunday - you know, 1/8th On-Road, nice and calm stuff

Hi All

Saw Jason last night look like himself. He called me this morning and told me he was walking last night and the Dr. found out and was happy and told him he could leave today and Jason is so happy to get the f*** out of there. hopefully if every thing goes right i wont have to post anymore about him and tomorrow he will be able to answer for him self. Get well and get out there Racing My Friend

First off Thanks for all the support. It was a little rough the first 2 days. Not sure if you guys know the story, but in 2000 i was in a motorcycle accident. I broke my right femur, right knee cap. and fractured my right hip. Well after being helicoptered to the hospital they took me into surgey. The next day the doctors and physical theropists come into my room and ask me to stand up and walk. I questioned them on walking soo soon but they assured me with the rod they installed in my femur I would be just fine. Needless to say when I go to take my first step my right fractured hip broke and down to the floor I went. After they get me back into the bed I asked them for xrays. They told me don't worry about it. I say look at my feet, one foot is pointing straight up as normal and the other is laying flat on the bed facing the wall. I told the them this doesn't look normal. Anyway they did the xrays and the next morning doctors walk in and say "we are soo sorry Mr. MacDonald but you right hip is also broken. We completely missed it". Well to make a long story short they pinned my hip at a different hospital. 9 months later still can't walk, go to the doctors and he tells me it is a total non-union and you need a hip replacement. So I had it done in Nov 2000. They told me it would last 15-20 years if I was easy on it. Well I must not of been very easy on it because it only lasted 8 years. The way I look at it is live like there is no tomorrow because you only go around 1 time. So if I need to go in for a tune up every now and then so be it. I do hope to see you guys at the track soon. I will try and make it out to Rams Sunday for the first race to help the guys with setup and tuning.

Thanks again for the well wishes.
