Default another tweek question i am puzzled

i have had a few nitro touring cars in the past ntc3 and have a little knowledge on them. i am a good wrench also but have never ran nitro touring on a competive level.
i picked up a used 710 after i fixed the obviouse problems i set up the car and took it to the track my first day they were having a thropy race and it brought people in there were about 40 people
after my first run i had 16 laps and didn't finish the car became very slow the clutch was slipping i belive or over heating and the car was hooking mid corner.

after a few adjustmints of the clutch thanks to mike dumas (trinity) and some help from mike at bruckner the chassi was much more planted and driveable next qualifier i put down 20 laps that put me in the a but i needed a shoe horn to get in but the car was hooking when takingleft hand turns and pushing mid corner.

the a main i was way fast everyone had insane power my stock mt12 was in over drive and couldn't catch them at all but the car was hooking and pushing it was hard to drive everyone was putting down 1 1.5 sec faster laps after my sec pit stop i got fuel on the electronics and thats all she wrote DONE.

i was real happy for my first time out but i know i could have done better if the car was set up

after going threw the car i could tell the chassy was twested after putting it on blocks and wiggling the car i replaced it and it didn't wiggle anymore but what the car does is that when it is sitting on a flat surface and push down on the rear left tower the front right tire lifts when i do it to rear right the front stays down i think there is tweek that i am not seeing i have tried every thing in the unaficial faq and can't seem to find what is wrong i checked all the rear hinge pins no bindging or bent pins and every thing is smothe has anyone had this problem.

the next question is the clutch after running about 15 min the engine seems to sound snoty or sick and have little power or loss in power. one of my friends is also having this problem the engines are running about 250

i hope try it next weekend and get it ready for the regonals
thanks for all the help and i am happy with the car i just think i should have got a new one

Yeah, I worry too. Hence the reason why I gave him lead to make it seem that he beat me to seeing the product release. Sometimes, you gotta feign and play dumb a little.

I think the wheels with foams are already released. Don't know why they are not mentioned in the new products page. In the LRP race in Luxembourg, Michael and Julius used those new wheels in their 710.

The 1/8th scale this weekend (also in Luxembourg), team Serpent is also using those new wheels.

What did they do to the clutch? If the flyweights are still stock mounted, get the yellow Centax clutch shoes. It'll grab better. Else, those guys may have taken the shorter way and mounted the flyweights in the middle of the flywheel post by cutting them up and using the existing black Centax clutch shoes.

Try taking out everything leaving just the chassis. Put the chassis with the bottom side facing up on a flat surface like a piece of glass. Even when new, there are chances that the chassis will be bent slightly in the middle where the receiver pack is even when new. As long as the chassis does not bend from side to side, they should be OK.

I think the clutch may be slipping and causing the engine to bog down. Check the FAQ.
