I'm curious... Which shocks are you breaking? Front or rear?

Perhaps another silly question... Where did you break the shock? The point when the threading starts?

Next silly question... How did you hold the shock shaft when you thread the plastic ball cup joint onto the shaft?

Rick drove a faultless final. A truly good driver. We had a great run the first ten minutes, the gap was never more than 1 second. Then I ran out of fuel just before the pit entry on my in lap..... Which ended my chance for victory. After the tire changes I was just inside a lap and was slightly faster at times but made too many small bobbles in attack mode :D

great run julius !!! Hope you get first next time out.

I am wondering how you guys are liking your 710's so far. I started to read this form and made it to page 104, but I think it will take me awhile to read through it all.
I am looking into getting a 710 inplace of my NTC3. Its been a good car but I want to see what a belt drive is like. At my track we have got the G4, an R40 and the new NTC3, So I want to be different. Any info would be great

Thanks

Welcome ! We like our 710 to death if that is not bias enough. muahahah  :deathstar To get a gist of it all, why not download the 710 FAQ compiled by our dear Mr. Markp27?:sneaky: That would be the fastest and easiest way.

The 710 should be in the league (if not better than other cars) if driver and engine variables remain equal. If you have any question, do not hessitate to shoot.;)

I measure the standard ball with the MITUTOYO Dial Caliper 505-633-50, JIS (WA100 certiftied) ISO 9000 Kobe Plant it shown 4mm diameter.
When Im using my MITUTOYO Digimatic Micrometer 293-721-30 it reads 4.000 or .1575"
Phewww...

I guess Serpent makes smaller one for ceramic option.

Happy birthday bro, you are a gemini too !
No wonder that you were very melankolic

Before you do that, take consideration for having droop point measurement not under its knuckle lowest point and also be sure that the front or rear shock tower sits the same between L/R height (especially the front).

Give up :p

or

Crash, crash and crash again until you cant afford it anymore and then you will learn to race fast without hitting things

How much did you get that for? I've been looking high and low for it but they are VERY expensive.

Ummm, I guess smaller diameter makes the diff plates sit closer still into the diff and closes the gap better to avoid sand . dust going in. Just a guess.
