I'll try and look for that free date and see if my "wingman" would want to make it to. But the participants look intimidating.

Not forgetting FAST servos too.

Hey, have you got around to comparing the 2343 and 2344 yet?

Is that like a "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy?
You could neither confirm nor deny.

Nope, not yet.
I'm looking to invest in a new engine.
So my money needs to be spent on that instead.

I'm going to order one to avoid this happening again.

Yeah, it bent just after the last non-bumper retaining screws on the chassis, so it is just the very tip - a hit with a hammer should do the trick
I had my Impulse chassis bend at the same spot.
I fixed it with a hammer.
This happened back when I had it setup for the lola body.
I cut the upper bumper plate to fit the lola body, and it was no longer secured to the lower bumper.
I guess without having the upper and lower bumpers connected, it puts all the impact on that part of the chassis.

Motor was excellent when it was running @ 130 Deg C - hot!!!!! but the LSN tuning seems really critical - I eventually had it turned out 1.25 turns and then I could pull away nicely and not have the engine keep cutting out!

Oh man - I'll have to see if I can rescue the chassis some how - it's the 705s 4mm one, so maybe I can bend it back into shape. It's only the very end which is bent up. Are these things fixable?
Sorry to hear Mark hope your motor will be fine otherwise your fx wil have a hard time running in both cars Didn't you have a failsafe ( elastichairbandthingie ) around your carb. Works fine for me and it keeps the carb closed when something happens.

I see that you also like to run your engines hot

The problem was when the crystal fell out, the servo pushed to full throttle - the fail-safe elasticband/spring wouldn't have helped. I'm going to replace my RX with a PCM version, so I can have a built in fail-safe.

I use the Helios but with no failsafe only the elasticbandthingie but I don't have that powerfull servo's on my 710. For throttle/brake I have a hitec 525 BB and my steeringservo is a futaba 9202. I must say that the rx from Ko Propo is the smallest I've seen it fits the recieverbox of the 710 very good.
