Yup. I forgot to mention that tip. I believe that came from Dark Lord Julius somewhere. But I think Schrijver99 mentioned that this will cut the oneway shafts. He mentioned something about the things sponsored factory drivers do versus what normal drivers do...

Anyway, good luck racing and let us know how it turns out !

Why are you changing them? Because of wear? Did the clutch shoe melt? Perhaps your clutch is slipping very badly.

Did you mod the flyweights? What are your clutch settings? I assume your engine is tuned right.
I changed one and I see the new one going kinda quick. It's normal wear to the edge of the aluminum tray, no melting. I do have it set to engage pretty high in revs... maybe driving it that way causes more friction than would be desired...and my engine is tuned correctly "sometimes"...

Anyway, knowing that you don't have this problem is very useful for me so I can work on better adjustments . Thanks for the info "D"

I,ve tried running Impact dog bones because they are just a bit longer and it helped maybe a little. Why would there not be dog bones? What do the Pros do besides not hit anything???
I got a set from SouthWest RC. I tried them last week at the Twister Tire Challenge and they held up. I used them for practice, 5 qualifiers, and a 30 minute main.

Boy, tell me about it! I've had my 710 since sometime in Jan and because of snow, non delivery of motor and servos, it still hasn't turned a wheel I wanted to go to the track last weekend, but there was a race on. I'm just hoping that everything comes together this weekend and I can head on down to the track.

I hope the weather stays nice Mark. The forecast is not that good and I'll have to race sunday but I hope it stays dry during the weekend.

Yeap, considering I'm made and manufactured in the tropics, I was surprised that I was also "fried" this morning in London when it was only 12 DegC!

Mind you, in a feeble effort to lose weight, I was trying to walk as fast as I can ... and OK, it wasn't very fast.

Dogbones are more rugged. If you hit and rub the walls with a CVD, it'll be a more costly replacement and you need to replace it when it gets bent. Dogbones will just pop out or get loss. To a certain extent, you can still use your slightly bent dogbone.

tried that yet.
I think 3racing CVD should be ok, i have them on my G4 and i crash it many times , only one has slight bent , but their QC is just so so wish you luck buying them ( i buy 3 pair and only 2 pair can be use )

Was there last week, missed you at TT by a whisker on Sunday. Was drenched by the time I walked from the track to the car!

Anyway, shops seemed to whine about the slow cash-flow. You need to buymore stuff from ol' Thomas!

I should race tonight at the indoor track but too knackered to even lift my transmitter!

Gotta scoot over the pond this Saturday so can't race again either ... what to do?

Well, I'll work on my new RC website I think ...

RC Reviews is looking to dogged to get excitement.

I was about to say the same thing about their QC but didn't want to be labelled "anti-3 Racing"!
