Will you be an online store?
Will you be able to ship to South Africa?
Will you have Bodies? And paints, and be able to process credit cards?

And will you be able to sell... Serpent products?

I'm going to work on Serpent next week.
The KO servos are hard to sell for that cheap.
I would only be making a 20% profit if I sell it at that price.
The hard thing about selling KO in the states is other countries get a lower cost on them.
I live about 1/2 an hour from Proline/Protoform.
I haven't set anything up with them yet.
Getting more manufactures on my list is one reason for going to RCX this weekend.
I want to see what's going to be coming out.
Yes, I will be doing internet sales and I will be able to process credit cards as soon as my site is up.
I'll see about shipping to South Africa.
I don't know what shipping would be like.

I received the parts today and found no problems fitting the 2-speed shaft and the same goes for the upper bumper plate.

There is one problem with the 3racing upper bumperplate though: They forgot we like to fit an AMBrc DP transponder underneat it but the aluminum part that holds the up-stop setscrews prevents this. So I had to mount it on top...

Also got 2 sets of 808220 "PRO"driveshafts which are.... black

And about rotating mass off the Ti shafts:
The main difference is that the middle and 2-speed shaft together take about 15g off the total weight of the car. The difference in rotation resistance is sooo very small, nobody will notice it.
I think Julius mentioned this before.

You are right, he did.

If the shafts of the hudy drivers are black, then I am sure the dogbones should also be, or am I wrong?

Check it out, I am an Addict... this I must admit, is true, I am.

I have hudy springsteel wheelaxles and dogbones for my 705 too, which are all brown. But I sent an e-mail to Serpent benelux to be sure... Will get back on it as soon as I receive a reply.

Oh yes, I think the roll axis play more important role for that matter.
I think there is confusion about the question that was originally asked, and my reply.

Here is the original question:

What I`m interested in, what is the benefit for having higher RC but with the lower arm mounted far more toward up from the bottom of chassis. I mean, when the lower arm is now mounted on its highest point, the weight of the rear (CG?) is somehow lower. Does it then generate more tracktion??
When I responded, I meant that the position of the lower arm has no effect on the CG of the car, but will of course have an effect on the RC of the car.

808220 dogbones

Oh, about the 808220 spring steel dogbones, I was incorrect.
They ARE shorter in overall length than the original S710 dogbones by a little bit less than 1mm.

The pins are also closer together by approx. 0.5mm.

Hmmm... my shoe tastes terrible this morning...

808220 dogbones

I got a pair of black ones too. I called Serpent USA yesterday and they knew about the problem. They said it's some packaging error. The guy dealing with this issue is at RCX this weekend, and they'll get back to me next week.
