Anyone know how heavy a stock FW05R is? My friend had one at the track and I notice it was much heavier compared to the 710.

On the first tank, just about the second corner, powering out and I took it wide coming out and slammed the metal fence barrier ! Checked the car. The upper bumper brace buckled a little in the middle where the impact occured. The lower bumper was intact. The front edge of the chassis had a groove in the middle (coincided with the hole on the front of the Loletta shell) as a result of hitting the sharp edge of the metal fence pole. Only the left shock popped out of the ball located on the lower arm. Other parts did not break. Then I noticed also that the tank also cracked. But the worst thing was the chassis bent slightly in the front and worst part also in the middle ! I guess that was one of the reasons why the tank cracked.

So now after fixing everything, my baby has a new chassis... But on Sunday, did not get to test it out because of rain !

Sorry to hear what happened. Your lucky you only broke a few parts compared to me and you even bent your chassis. I cant imagine how hard you need to hit something in order to bend a chassis.

I got to run my Mazda6 for the first time last weekend and was very impressed how well balance the car felt. Its between a 2.1 Stratus and an Alfa Losi. Has good front-end downforce like the Alfa but without the agressive feeling (smother). Also I heard that Protoform just lost the rights to make the Stratus bodies so this Mazda6 is a very good replacement!!;)

Here is my Mazda6............:tire:

Thanks cox049:)

The sticker around the windshield hole is a tire saver from GRP tires (fast tires). I don't really use them for the tires unless I run my tires out of the box (64mm) less prong to chucking.

Here is annother angle of my 6.........

You could be too rich, but there should be visable smoke coming from the engine, and this WILL leave oil residue on the pipe and body. Check your temp, you should be running your engine as cool as you can and still develope maximum power. If your friends run so lean there is no oil on the pipe and body, you should go in the business of selling engines!

 ;)
