For me, though, most important is the amount of support and availability of spares - this is where Serpent can't be beat in my oppinion.

Mark, there is nothing to add from my side!!!!!!:) :)

Guys,

Does the 710 have roll centre changes in the rear and ackerman changes for the frnt like the MTX3?

SN

These questions have been answered already, but this thread has grown fast, so I understand that it is hard to find:;)

the car features adjustable fornt AND rear rollcenters, but not adjustable Ackermann.
We felt that this feature didn't bring enough advantages to add it in the car.

I agree with you Mark, it's just that the inclusion of alloy parts makes for a higher quality looking product and elsewhere on this forum it was suggested that ballast may need to be added to the car, rest assured I bet the alloy support will soon appear as an option part along with Hudy steel drive shafts and axles.

Looking high quality is one this, but being it is another. We'll have to wait for the product to see how it really is.

Thank you Michael, will they be adjusted the same way with the different blocks etc?

Good morning Michael, I'm not trying to be too critical of the new car because it looks excellent it's just the thought of having to spend a lot more dosh on option parts, still can't wait to lay my hands on one. ;)

Michael: I read on MyTsn that shipment was expected late December early January? Is this acurate? And does this include Australia?

In the rear it is changed with blocks, like the 950 front. In the 710 front we opted for a different solution, because we found the quick-change front axle-feature so important, and we couldn't get that together with the block-type rollcenter change.
So in the front we opted for a different solution, where you can move the upper suspension bracket up or dpwn.

Good morning Diesel racer! :D

There is nothing wrong with critics! I like this forum, because I learn what you guys want!!!
Regarding optional parts: Especially the bracket for the radio tray is not necessary in my opinion. It would make the kit much more expensive, and even on my 950 I didn't use it. But some drivers especially in Asia like these optional stuff, so as a company you must offer them, otherwise somebody else does!
I'm afraid that in this aspect we are not better than the other brands!;) ;) ;)

What I know exactly is that everybody at Serpent works his ass off to get the car out of the company in time. And I am quite sure, that will happen before christmas. I don't know however, how long it takes to be in australia, I have to ask our sales department.

Fair comment Michael, and despite what the Mugen guys think there is none better than Serpent and it sure is better to lead than to follow. Now I wonder if they will have a clone out for the Winter Nats.      :weird:
