Yep, the uptravel of the arms - i.e. nasty affects of having virtual up-stops!!!!

I feel for you ! Well, it is good and quick solution when the track is slippery. Else, the front diff is always a better compromise when traction is low.
Just look on my clubs website and there is anyway "bahndienst" for at least the next two weekends, i.e. get the track to "working" order before the season starts, so i couldn't drive this weekend even if I did have my motor PHEW!!

Serpent decals...whatever decals you have lah. It'll help in plotting out the design. Sponsor decals?

No need for masking decals. It's hand made.

Not if I paint them, when I paint them, I got an airbrush to play with and the bugger wants to play... I may get an MG body if I get a response on that one and paint it good and propper, I have the design all figured, similar to the little picture I use under my name...

Is that a BMW M3 body? Marcos, I think you should change the bodyshell. Use the good old Stratus or the Stratus 2.1 or the newer Alfa 2.1 and the Mazda 6. It'll do a whole lot of good to the car.
I knw some one gave me that body to try it worked ok , i will get the stratus 2.1 for the next race.

There is a link in the FAQ to a mytsn article about lubing the bearings.
All bearing should be lube at regular intervals - a lot of folks like to do this after each race weekend, to ensure none of the bearings are damaged.

If you're not racing, then you can leave them longer without lubing them - but every two to three weeks is still pretty sensible.

Also, you should lube the dogbones, again there is a section in the FAQ that gives information about this.

Cheers, Mark.

Default 710 FAQ

I've re-organised the lubing sections, so they all are in one part of the FAQ. Also I added information about the rear track width and how it can affect the rear arm up-travel.

Cheers, Mark.

Dont you need to remove all the pivot balls in order to take out the dog bones and lube it? Aint that a bitch! Unless you take out the pivot pins from the arm.

I think you can simply remove the upper rear pivot ball to get access to the rear dogbone, and at the front, you just need to loosen them off and not remove them.
It goes pretty smoothly, actually and as this would be done after a day at the track, you'd probably be resetting your setup anyway, so there isn't so much extra work - the big advantage is that your car will be running optimally on the next run

Talking Stupid idea of the day

I was just thinking how great it would be to also have a one-way bearing at the rear end of the car, too, instead of a diff - I was racking my brains as to why it hadn't been done yet, when it suddenly occured to me that you wouldn't have any brakes anymore Thinking can be dangerous for those without talent
