AS a last resort while you are awaiting parts, put the bumper back together with a lot of Sho-Goo and let it dry overnight. You will be amazed at how long it can hold that way. I fill in the big holes on the top bumper plate with Sho-Goo and since then I have not broken one. Sounds stupid, but works great.

I just snapped my front shock piston today. Wasnt going that fast and hit a wall dead on. I hit it harder in the past but nothing broke but this time I guess I happen to hit it at the right angle 
Funny thing is my friend broke his today as well after me but I took his spare piston shaft first before he broke his and the lhs sold out
