The fine eye of a master photographer knows all *cough*

I don't like this 710 thread anymore There am I stuck in the middle of a snowy January in Germany without the ability to even drive my 705 and you guys are all talking about how great the 710 is I'm so jelaous!

My Surikarn is the only saving grace and I'm having great fun with it! I'm really learning a lot about setup - much more than I did with the nitro car - possibly as I don't have to get the motor running well before I can start playing with the handling.

Having said that, I can't wait until it is time to hit the outdoor track with the 705 again!

Cheers, Mark.

Right. Plus it can't even match the power-to-weight ratio of the 710!

Mark, looking at the GDP of Germany, it would not take much for anyone to build an indoor nitro track. Start one up!

Ummm, some may argue other wise ! I would not want to get into detailed discussions on this rather sensitive subject.

Thanks for the excellent pics Dino ! You guys are lucky to be able to drive at the Silverstone track !

Looking at the pics, it is smooth but I don't think it is as smooth as the first grade surface of the Srinakarin track ! Tire wear is only 0.5 mm for a 10 minute heat. This is even with 37 shore tires !

The track has very high grip and the 710 handles like its on rails Just started breaking my engine in today, finally!

Got a question. How many tanks do you guys go through for break in? For my break in I use 10% and I am on my 5th tank. 1st tank it was running rich and the car just idled until it was empty. The rest of the 4 tanks it ran rich as well with alot of smoke coming from the exaust. They told me I need at least 10 tanks before I can really break it in. Every tank I turn the high needle in 1/8 turn.

I hear you're going up. I may not be able to because of some committments.

Somebody mentioned that the track surface is nice. Does not have a long straight and there is a fair bit of technical layout and islands.

There are many ways to break in an engine. Some use 10% nitro fuel. Some use the fuel you're going to be racing.

If in doubt, you can always ask Dino !
