The problem will come when you try to take the pinions off the clutchbell... I forsee that you could unscrew the 1st gear pinion but more likelyhood, the 20T 2nd gear will still get stuck onto the clutchbell if you're unlucky. In that case, I think you would still need the cloth and a plier...

Well, the tool now is made of aluminum. Not like the other Centax 1 and 2 tools that were made of Hudy spring steel.
Looks like you found the problem ...mine was bought in during the 705 days and is for the Centax II.

Onkel Sow, the tools for Centax 1, Centax 2 and Centax 3 are all different ! Centax 2 and Centax 3 tools only differ by the position of the hole where the pin goes in.

Default Receiver died...

Hi there!

Just started to run my new 710, but after 5 laps my new Graupner/Jr synthesized receiver broke. Fortunately I had my failsafe aboard...
Question: Is the 710 known to transfer lots of engine vibrations to the rc box? Maybe my synthesized receiver is not up to the task, but a friend of mine mentioned that his 710 kills receiver crystals on a regular basis.
Any thoughts or solutions?
Thanks!

The 710 doesn't kill receivers and doesn't kill crystals. If your receiver broke, then take it back to the shop and have them replace it.

Cheers, Mark.

Mark...that was a really good article that you wrote on 3hobby.net. I was a little distracted by the random pictures http://3hobby.net/modules.php?name=c...album=48&pos=7 but quickly got back on track

Make sure to write about your next trip and try to miss the only post on the track

I know what you mean about those random pics

Glad you liked the article, though - I'll write my next one after my first southern German champ race, next week.

Cheers, Mark.
