Just one word,,, AWSOME!! ,, this is the best engine I ever test,, last sunday I went racing, and after few months of retirement, I came back very strong ,, thanks to Serpent and this mega engine, I was able to make the A main, with 17laps like the other racers that are very active in this hobbie, in the A main, 9 out of 10 cars were Serpents 710, three of then including mine, were running mega combos, Stock out of the box,
the others were running, Murnan's, Maxy's and Jp's Fx, and I didn't saw any diference between all of these engines,, just a little with the Jp, , the cars were face to face in the backstrech, last thing to say is , what more you want for $260.00??,,

Easy to break in ,, in five tanks you have almost break in done, this engine like to run in between the 200 to 220 degrees, with other engines you have to run in the 260's to have this performance ,, If you have plans to buy another engine, you may consider this baby first!!

Hey Paul, congrats on the strong finish even after semi retirement. It looks like Mega all the way.

Hey, I assume the Mega engine you got was a 3 port RACE with the powerpack pipe combo?

Default Serpent rims

Hi Guys i have the N.Z nationals in a couple of weeks and i cannot get any 40sh front or rear serpent rims so i an going back to the old faithful Fast tyres dish rims, the only problem i had with these is they rub on the steering arm, so i bought some 1mm offset hubs to go on the front. what i wanted to know is how will this affect my car?

Easy. Whatever you do, set and maintain the front (or rear) trackwidth with the tires you're going to use to the same you were previously doing...

If you were doing 199 mm with Ellegi tires, makes sure you set it back to 199 mm when you're using FAST tires with the 1 mm offset hubs.

beside ellegi, a brand call fastlap also make wheel that will perfact fit 710, try that out if you can find one.

else just order ellegi from RC-Mushroom.
tyre is not a concern

I believe Brett mentioned that RC-Mushroom is all out of stock with the 40 shore Ellegi tires...

Comparing grip and tire wear, how do you rate the Fastlap tire and the Ellegi?
