Default Personal transponder

Being new to the 710, I would like to know where is the best place to put a personal transponder, any picture would be nice.

Thanks

I think you can find a thread at mytsn 710 forum discussing about the same thing...

Default Short Update...

Just yesterday, when it was a bright, sunny and blue skies on the track with 35 degree C temp, I tested out my 710.

I am currently still running with a front solid axle setup. But this is what I arrived at and I was pretty happy with it on a technical track with lots of tight corners and fast S chicanes;

Caster setting (mm in front): 5mm (with wheelbase shortened 2 mm)
Roll-center position upper arm (mm): 0mm under
Upstop (mm): None

Suspension geometry Rear:
Downstops: 8mm
Set-up ride height: 6mm (Actual ride height !)
Camber Left: -4.0 degree
Camber Right: -3.5 degree
Toe-in: +2.0 degree

Roll-center position upper: inner (UTI)
Roll-center position lower: up (LT)

Rear axle:

************************************

Car turns very well and easy off power on tight technical tracks. Was using UTI / LB on the rear roll center before this. After changing to UTI / LT, the car rotates better and easier with a solid front axle. Will try out a more horizontal rear shock on the shock tower. Dual rate is set 75% on Tx steering. More and the rear tends to throw. Steering travel at 100% dual rate on Tx is set at max full throw steering travel (just touching front bulkhead) on the 710.

I'm placing an order from Mushroom today that among other 710 parts will contain some tires, but what shores are you recommending for a pretty fast large track with arount 10-20 C track temp?

Actually, it depends on what kind of wear your track is having...

But then again, look for 37 to 42 shores for front and rear tires. Most probably 40 would be mostly used. Get the new Ellegi tires. Better performance.

Hi D,,,

long time no write in this lands, ,, but trying to keep in touch with everything you guys write in here,,,, recently I adquire my 710 Kit,, with the new Mega Picco engine,, , I have a few questions , first about Centax ,, the coil spring that I received in my Kit was the Gold one, my manual says 909518 , is that OK, so should I replace it with the silver one Ser6586??,,

another question, I see that in your last setup , you're running locked front diff, did you locked the one way or the ball diff??,, and what did you do to lock it???

One more question, sorry but the UT and LT thing, I don't understand the terminology already,, due to my little experience with the car,, can you please make a drawing or take a pic. about this concern,,, BTW, thanks for the setting , that was I'm looking for ,, I'm running technical tracks around here!,,

Nice ride Paul ! Hey welcome back...

I know sometimes it seems easier if we can just put the car in the washing machine to give it a good cleaning...
