I think he had a lot of time to "thaw" himself with that sunny weather there after sitting himself in front of the silly Mac  freezing his butt off at home.

tyres

I have a question we are having our nationals in a about 6 weeks, we just had our ultimate open at the same place, and after running a 20min final i didnt have much rear tyre left, now for the nationals it is 30min's i am already running 42 rear any ideas on how to make the tyre wear last longer? or is it just driving skill

P.S i will be using the new 21t middle pully if that makes a difference

Overdrive will help.
Softer rear spring will help too.

Hi Sow,

I was at Ray's place last week to get my copy of the worlds. He has some more interesting stuff coming soon if your into electric 1/12.

Mark was just awesome in the wet he made it look all so easy, than again I suppose talented people tend to do that.

Hi Simon, I don't do electrics any more but I have bought Ray's EP WC DVDs in the past. I'll definitely buy this next one too ... gotta keep Ray going or we lose the only real resource for the on-road world! ;)

Yes, I'm afraid the Brits do not have have a lot of choice when it comes to wet racing. When I first came over I couldn't believe it. In Asia we just don't race when its raining ... for one, the rain there is REAL rain whereas here its more like a misty spray.

The trouble is this goes on almost all year so if you don't race in the wet or on damp tracks then forget doing RC.

Forgot to ask ... do you know if Ray is in Florida this week? He recorded the WinterNats last year ... not sure about this year.
