Yes, the diff pulley should not slip. Tighten the screw just enough so that the diff pulley stops slipping. After that is done, then the last step would be to tighten the grub screw which should lock the position so that the setting does not run and cause the diff to slip.

For more detailed information, you can have a look at Julius' article on how to build the 710 diff correctly.

That is right. I know that it will pull to the right under acceleration because when the diff is set loose, the diff collar holds the left side of the rear diff and letting the right side slip. Hence that's why you get that anomaly. I believe that explanation is the same during braking... The right side slips during braking and that's why the car goes to the left side.

So that is why sometimes you find people saying that you should not use the diff collar because the car swerves to the right or left but in fact it is the diff that is set incorrect.

This also I rarely take it apart to service. If I remember only 4 times. The tracks we play here can sometimes be very dusty too and it has not affected the rear diff too much.

Put some Mugen Super Grease on a paper tower and rub the 4 mm balls with it so that the grease is lighly coated on the balls. That's the only trick and one of the best tricks yet for this car.
Do you put grease an the ceramic balls as well? Mine is super smooth without grease.
