If the stinger outlet is within legal dimension (5.2mm) yes it is legal. There is no rules on manufacturing material.
BTW where did you see it?? where can we get one???

Wow, it would be painful to "bend" the stinger on that pipe....

Mysterious 17T copper gear!

Ok, mystery solved - somehow the 17T copper coloured gear simply doesn't fit together with the 22T gear (or anyother for that matter). Check out the pic:

http://www.3hobby.com/modules/copper...03/17tGear.jpg

See how there is a built in shim on the copper coloured 17T, but also how it can't be screwed down sufficiently onto the other gear, therefore leaving a gap!
This leads to the bearings being too deep into the bell housing and the clutch gap being too small.

Report on its way to Serpent :D

Hi Ferdi,

I'm not sure what spec the WC edition is, i.e. if it has the fanged sleave or not.

I've got the normal sleave, but it has ceramic bearings.

If you want to learn more about the car, I have written an article on 3hobby.com - all hop ups and everything are mentioned there

Cheers, Mark.
