Look forward to trying them out to see how they perform.

Cheers, Mark.

PS: 3hobby.com has a video of me doing a lap around the Nuremberg track - its MPEG-4 encoded, so you'll need to have the latest Quicktime player installed. Get it here
Where did you get the New Arrows rims?
Thanks....

So basically your just lifting the front or rear of the car in the middle and seeing what way it is leaning towards?
No problems.

As for the balance, no ... you don't just lift front or rear, you should place them on small poles and see if they balance from side to side. There is a pair of "balancing stands" that Serpent makes for this purpose.

The chassis for the previous models like the 705 or Impulse Pro used to have a small dimple underneath the front the rear middle for this. For the 710 you just find the center front and center rear. Then using a pair nails (if you don't have the tools) try to stand the car on them and balance.

A pair of nails? That's crazy Onkel Sow.

I tried using M4 allens that are slightly long. Already difficult as it is. I can't imagine nails.

Anyway, for those gold (oophs, golf ) inclined, you could use the tee off stands for the golf balls as chassis balancers.

lol..

at first i thought why would i need to make a perfect balance to a gas car ? within 5 mins of running, the left/right and front/rear tires would have a different rate of wear anyway, so the car wouldn't balance nomore.

just fill 'er up and gas it up.

The quality is excellent - even non serpent drivers are using them!!! I pleased they changed the plastic from the very brittle sort of the old rims.
