Moving to Spain? Wow! Good ... open a track there and we'll visit.
The idea has crossed my mind, the nearest track is a 2 hour drive away at Alicante Del Sol

As for Guv' that's easy ... just entice her to Florida sun and beaches!
That sounds soooooooo tempting.

While on the subject of Florida, all the best to our fellow racers that are taking a real hammering with the weather at the moment.

Default One piece confusion

Hi all,

I started the one piece confusion by posting a message of the new serpent piece.

To clear things up:

Quote:
This is what it looks like ... the Serpent one.
This is defenitly not the Serpent one.
As you can read it's made by 3-racing options.

The Serpent one is the Orange one.
As Serpent pernounced by the presentation of the S710, the new colour used by them is orange.

Go online to the border shop, then click on 1:10 nitro,
then click on Serpent 710 spare parts, and then scroll to page 13 off 13.
The last product is the Serpent one piece engine mount.
They do not have a pic available, but as I can assure you the Serpent part is the orange one.

Bye, Thomas

No worries mate. We could have done more but the schedule for the day was a lot tighter than I thought and I was having problems with the engine.

Yes, all the best to them. Maybe the track will be gone and the WinterNats will be held elsewhere?

Default New Serpent rims

Got my new Serpent rims and tyres yesterday - I'm very impressed with the plastic which is used for the rims - it is much more like the type of plastic which is used for the suspension parts. The rims don't flex anywhere near as much as the old ones and I'm sure they'll stand up to much harder knocks, too. They are even more solidly built than the New Arrows rims which I have. Look forward to trying them out to see how they perform.

Cheers, Mark.

PS: 3hobby.com has a video of me doing a lap around the Nuremberg track - its MPEG-4 encoded, so you'll need to have the latest Quicktime player installed. Get it here

And how do you figure out the amount of wieght you need on the left side of the car?

I may have got Orange and White the wrong way round ... can someone verify please?

Balance ... do just exactly that. fuel up your car in race trim, try to balance the chassis left-to-right by supporting it in the middle of the front and rear of the chassis.

Thanks for the help Sow&Steady and PSI Racing. Now I have to decide which ones to get first.
So basically your just lifting the front or rear of the car in the middle and seeing what way it is leaning towards?
