  Sow, now I know why you were traction rolling!!! The centre of gravity was upset by you placing the PT on top of the carbon plate!!!!

Speedy

Hi all,

The thread is going on high speed today:)

If you discharge your batteriepacks often they can easely life a couple of years without any problems.

The Servo I see in the pic is that a Futaba 9550?
How is it?
Does it has enough power and speed for both steering and brakes?

Thanks and Bye,

Thomas

I've got 9550s for my second 710 - yet to be built. The 9550s provide ample torque to both bring the 710 to a halt and to steer. Small and light are they too! :D

Cheers, Mark.

Maybe you'll need to aid some weight to make your car legal.

You should be able to get them from every good hobby shop - Futaba are a very well known brand and the 9550s are the most popular servos for electric cars.

Try www.rc-mushroom.com for example.

In Europe I can get them for €100 but in the states, you should be able to get them for under $100 each.
